Installing an errata on a RHEL 8 content host via Satellite WebUI fails with "No new packages installed"

Issue

Errata could not be installed via katello-agent from satellite server.
Pushing errata from Satellite fails.
The WebUI displays the error No new packages installed.
On the RHEL 8 client, the following error can be observed in /var/log/messages.
```
TypeError: object of type 'NoneType' has no len()
```
