Discovery does not cache partition/servers information

Issue

We use discovery to find members of a cluster. This worked well until we started running an intensive multithtreaded batch process.
The batch process does a lots of lookups on around 5 servers and, after a while, the process seems to exhaust some of the host resources and the machine becomes unresponsive.
