yum-complete-transaction leaves /var/run/yum.pid behind in RHEL6

Issue

  • When running yum-complete-transaction to verify if systems have any incomplete transactions, if they don't and the command is run the /var/run/yum.pid is left behind.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6
  • yum-utils <= 1.1.30-14
