Can hammer upload files or packages bigger than 2MB to a repository, while direct API has this limit?

API documentation puts a 2MB limit to upload a file or package to a repository, and bigger files must be uploaded after splitting into smaller chunks.

hammerlimited the same way? Canhammerupload bigger files without a problem?
