Why does my virtual machine migration using Cluster Suite results in a failure when an SSH banner is used on Red Hat Enterprise Linux?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • When using an ssh banner the failover of a virtual machine works but logs an error. This causes the cluster software to believe the failover didn't succeed and the service is marked as down.

  • How can I pass additional parameters/options to ssh while connecting to a remote URI through libvirt?
