Logout in JBoss EAP 7.2+ admin console gives a message telling to close the window/tab

Issue

• When I click the logout button to log out of the management console, a pop-up states that I must close the tab to log out. I close the tab/browser and connect again, to find that I'm still logged in. I'd like to be able to positively log out of the console. Also, I'm not able to configure the console to timeout user connections either.
• In order to logout, please close the current window / tab and reopen the console.
• When performing logout in EAP 7.2 in both Chrome and Firefox I get this message: In order to logout, please close the current window / tab and reopen the console. However, in prior versions (JBoss EAP 7.1 and JBoss EAP 6) it actually logged out.
