NFS clients mounting a volume from Red Hat Storage have a secondary group limitation

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

We just noticed when a user is a member of more than 16 groups we are getting permission denied when try to switch to a directory.

-bash-3.2$ adquery user someuser -G|wc -l
user is part of 24 groups
-bash-3.2$ ls -ld example.d
drwxrws--- 3 ftpuser ftp_group21 8192 Oct 16 04:13 example.d
-bash-3.2$ cd example.d
-bash: cd: example.d: Permission denied

The someuser user is part of the ftp_group21 group:

-bash-3.2$ adquery group ftp_group21
ftp_group21:x:30062:ftpuser,someuser
