RHEL server on Egenera hardware loaded bluetooth module arbitrarily, then got soft lockup error

Issue

Two RHEL 5 servers sitting behind a load balancer serving out the same content...  On server A, suddenly the bluetooth module loaded and, 10 seconds later the kernel reported CPU softlocks and the machine crashed.  While server A is being rebooted, load is switched to server B.  Load spikes, and the same thing happens on server B.
