tigervnc server's init script fails if user's shell is not bash

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • /etc/init.d/vncserver script assumes that the user configured to run VNC server service has bash shell.
  • If the user has C shell (csh or tcsh), then the script does not work.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.4
  • tigervnc-1.1.0-5.el6
