Why there is difference in snmpd service status for root and non-root user:

bash-3.2$ date; id; /sbin/service snmpd status

uid=71331(v341253) gid=20113(usgunix) groups=20113(usgunix)
snmpd is stopped
bash-3.2$

bash-3.2# date; id; /sbin/service snmpd status
Tue Sep 21 13:58:22 HKT 2010
uid=0(root) gid=0(root) groups=0(root),1(bin),2(daemon),3(sys),4(adm),6(disk),10(wheel)
snmpd (pid 5134) is running...
