Subnets are created with two Network Prefix without error in Red Hat Satellite 6.
Issue
-
When entering the
Network Addressfor a subnet, the system does not reject address if entered with a slash notation (CIDR Format) and when theNetwork Prefixfield is added explicitly again then the final address doubles up the Prefix. -
Example:
If "x.x.x.x/24" is entered in the Network Address field for a subnet and "/24" as the Network Prefix. This results in a Subnet created as "x.x.x.x/24/24". which is not valid.
Environment
- Red Hat Satellite 6.3.2.
