Red Hat Directory Server Console Doesn't Work When Anonymous Binds Are Disabled

Issue

  • When anonymous binds are disabled in Red Hat Directory Server (nsslapd-allow-anonymous-access: off), the Directory Server console will not connect.

  • The access log for the Directory Server shows that anonymous binds are being rejected:

conn=3160 op=0 BIND dn="" method=128 version=3
conn=3160 op=0 RESULT err=48 tag=97 nentries=0 etime=0
conn=3160 op=1 UNBIND
conn=3160 op=1 fd=72 closed - U1
