Why kickstarting a machine is more preferred than cloning the disk?
Issue
- Need to build 20 identical servers in terms of filesystem,
kernelsettings. Mostly all software shall be same. - What is preferred to do so? What is recommended by Red Hat? Kickstart installation will be preferred or cloning those disks will be preferred?
- These 20 servers shall be identical but will be used simultaneously.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5/6
- Kickstart Installations.
