Login with AD user is failing with "Access denied" error though password is correct

Issue

• SSH login with AD user is failing with "Access denied" on winbind enabled RHEL7 system error though the password is correct and following errors are observed:

Feb 28 08:33:45 rhel7 sshd[1886]: pam_winbind(sshd:auth): getting password (0x00000010)
Feb 28 08:33:45 rhel7 sshd[1886]: pam_winbind(sshd:auth): Could not retrieve user's password
Feb 28 08:33:48 rhel7 sshd[1886]: Failed password for EXAMPLE\\testuser from 192.168.0.1 port 22 ssh2

• AD user login via winbind fails with the following error in /var/log/secure:

 pam_winbind(sshd:auth): Could not retrieve user's password
