A cluster node is fenced after a stonith resource fails to stop

Issue

  • After a stonith resource fails its start operation, its stop operation may time out. If so, then the node gets fenced.
  • A stonith device's start operation uses a timeout of 20 seconds, even though pcmk_monitor_timeout is set to a higher value.
