dig +noall still prints comment lines for version in RHEL 5

Issue

  • In RHEL 5, the command 'dig +noall' is printing the version of dig.  Doing a dig +noall souldn't print version information.

  • # dig www.redhat.com +noall +answer

    ;  <<>> DiG 9.3.6-P1-RedHat-9.3.6-4.P1.el5_4.2  <<>> www.redhat.com +noall +answer ;; global options:  printcmd 
www.redhat.com. 600 IN CNAME origin-www.redhat.com. 
origin-www.redhat.com. 600 IN A 10.4.127.15
