Error 17 : cannot mount selected partition
Issue
Customer accidentally ran rpm -Uvh kernel instead of rpm -ivh kernel.
Now server failing to boot with the error below :
Error 17 : cannot mount selected partition
No any other changes has been made.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.2
- kernel-2.6.32-279.19.1.el6.x86_64.rpm
