  • podman fails to build container image, if any of the package tries to replace /etc/hosts in Red Hat Enterprise Linux ?

Dockerfile

From docker.io/centos:7.2.1511
RUN  yum -y update setup
CMD ["tail","-f","/dev/null"]
  • podman build fails with the following message
