Unable to deploy EFK during upgrade

Issue

  • Upgrading from 3.6 to 3.7 causes the deployment of logging to fail.
  • The upgrade fails with the following error:
RUNNING HANDLER [openshift_logging_elasticsearch : oc_obj] ***********************************************************************************************
FAILED - RETRYING: Waiting for logging-es-vqt7jc4w to finish scaling up (60 retries left).
FAILED - RETRYING: Waiting for logging-es-vqt7jc4w to finish scaling up (59 retries left).
  • The event logs throw the errors as follows:
Failed Scheduling   0/13 nodes are available: 1 Insufficient cpu, 10 MatchNodeSelector, 6 Insufficient memory, 7 CheckServiceAffinity.
