yppasswd can't change the password

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Unable to change password on NIS server using yppasswd.

  • Error details in /var/log/messages

     Dec 13 10:41:21 testmachine rpc.yppasswdd[1472]: update test (uid=1000) from host 10.X.X.X rejected
 Dec 13 10:41:21 testmachine rpc.yppasswdd[1472]: now < minimum age for `test'
