LVM configuration for local volume groups

We've tagged local system's root volume group.

Is it OK to include tag of root volume group in the /etc/lvm/lvm.conf file for volume_list and auto_volume_list sections, instead of the name of those volume groups?

Even is this OK with respect to HA-LVM configuration with tagging? Because, the article HA_LVM Configuration says as follows:

"Edit the volume_list field in the /etc/lvm/lvm.conf file. Include the name of your root volume group and your host name as listed in the /etc/cluster/cluster.conf file preceded by @. ..."

Is it incorrect if we use tag of local system's root VG in the 'volume_list' on Cluster nodes instead of its name as per above reference. Please, clarify on this.
