Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • The OpenShift got upgraded from OCP3.9 to OCP3.10. However, all atomic-openshift-master* services got masked and are in disabled state and the upgrade playbook is complaining about the following failure:

  • Master API pod is restarting every 10s and it is not coming up

    Back-off 10s restarting failed container=api pod=master-api-<hostname>

  • The Master API is complaining from the following error:

    Invalid MasterConfig /etc/origin/master/master-config.yaml
oauthConfig.identityProvider[0].provider.file: Invalid value: "/root/users.txt": could not read file: stat /root/users.txt: no such file or directory

Environment
