Where does CUPS send log messages in RHEL 8?
Issue
- Where does CUPS write logs in RHEL 8?
- The
/var/log/cups/error_logdoes not exist on my RHEL 8 system by default. - We are not getting logs generated in
/var/log/cupsfiles after a job is submitted

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8
- Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) 2.2.6
