CUPS not logging job-related "Info" messages in RHEL 6 and 7

Issue

• The CUPS logging in error_log file seems to be very small. There is no interesting data in that log like before.

• In RHEL 6 and RHEL 7, the CUPS error_log file contains only messages like the following:

  I [25/Nov/2018:05:01:04 -0300] Saving job.cache...
  I [26/Nov/2018:05:00:42 -0300] Saving job.cache...
  

  whereas in RHEL 5, the error_log contained messages for every print job, for example:

  I [27/Nov/2018:11:30:07 -0300] [Job 210316] Adding start banner page "none".
  I [27/Nov/2018:11:30:07 -0300] [Job 210316] Adding end banner page "none".
  I [27/Nov/2018:11:30:07 -0300] [Job 210316] File of type text/plain queued by "remroot".
  I [27/Nov/2018:11:30:07 -0300] [Job 210316] Queued on "printer" by "remroot".
  I [27/Nov/2018:11:30:07 -0300] [Job 210316] Started filter /etc/cups/interfaces/printer (PID 18030)
  I [27/Nov/2018:11:30:07 -0300] [Job 210316] Job completed.
