Issue

  • qpidd gives a "Journal full" error even when qpid-tool reports very few persistent messages in queue
  • On restarting the broker, one may take messages from the queue, but on enqueuing messages, the following error is seen:

flush() failed: jexception 0x0403 fcntl::add_wr_subm_cnt_dblks() threw JERR_FCNTL_FILEOFFSOVFL: Attempted increase file offset past file size

  • The qpid broker is not able to recover from a "Journal full" condition
