An installer for a kvm guest OS can't go on when an installation CD is exchanged.

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • We attempted to install RHEL3.9, installed by 4 installation CDs, to a kvm guest OS by virt-manager.

  • virt-manager prompted us to exchange an installation CD when 1st one was finished.  Although we exchanged the installation CD according to the message, virt-manager couldn't go on installing RHEL3.9 with the error message.

  • We'll upload the archive(diskchange.zip). Please see "11.png" in the archive.  If we clicked OK on the 11.png, the installing started again.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0

  • Architecture: x86_64

  • qemu-kvm-0.12.1.2-2.113.el6
