Why is Camel Xmljson putting square brackets around the returned data?

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

When using Camel's Xmljson Data Format, the returned data encloses the 'value' part with square brackets. For example:

Input

MyPALYOAD

Outout
{"payloadGet":["MYPAYLOAD"]}

Why are those square brackets there?
