Unable to start Oracle Listener After Kernel Upgradation

Issue

  • We have upgraded the Linux Kerner from '2.6.18-308.8.1.el5' to '2.6.18-348.1.1.el5'. After the server reboot, we are unable to start the Oracle listener. Kindly take this on priority.

  • Getting the following exception after upgrading the kernel:

Caused by: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-31061: XDB error: XML event error
ORA-19202: Error occurred in XML processing
In line 2 of orastream:
LPX-00247: invalid Document Type Declaration (DTD)
