ipa-client-install removes chrony time synchronization

Solution In Progress - Updated -

Issue

  • Running ipa-client-install will, by default, install and configure NTP. If you are already running a working environment (with eg. chrony) for time synchronization, you may not want ipa-client-install to change this.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6, 7
  • Red Hat Identity Management Client
