After upgrading to RHEL 7.5, the ID command intermittently gives the error "cannot find name for group ID xxxx" and Group-Names go missing after sometime.
Issue
- Why does
idfail to show my group id? - /usr/bin/id: cannot find name for group ID xxxx
- Group names go missing after some time
- Sudo fails
