[AMQ 6.3, individual DLQ, retryMessage() jmx operation] if message returns to DLQ after retry() - message disappears

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • a broker configured to use individual DLQ for each destination. The message is placed on the DLQ. The JMX retryMessage() is used to place the message back on the original queue. If the message returns to the DLQ the message will disappear.

NOTE: if using the default DLQ (ActiveMQ.DLQ) the message does NOT disappear.
