Workaround for `Keyspace hawkular_metrics does not exist` issue.

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • You installed without openshift_metrics_cassandra_storage_type, so the storage is configured as emptyDir.
  • Logging the following messages in the hawkular-metrics pod logs.
INFO  [org.hawkular.metrics.api.jaxrs.util.SchemaVersionChecker] (metricsservice-lifecycle-thread) Version check failed: Keyspace hawkular_metrics does not exist
INFO  [org.hawkular.metrics.api.jaxrs.util.SchemaVersionChecker] (metricsservice-lifecycle-thread) Trying again in 10000 ms
