PDF documents printed using evince are showing the transparent shadow as black or white squares

Issue

• While trying to print a PDF file that contains transparent shadows or similar images, it is showing black or white squares on paper. There are solid boxes, but the shaded gradient should be there.
• The problem does not occur if the PDF document is printed directly from the command line.
