Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 3.10 upgrade is failing because of problems with Node restart

Issue

  • Ansible upgrade_control_plane.yml fails on tasks: TASK [openshift_node : Wait for node to be ready]. The node remains in NotReady state, re-running ansible causes additional error due to NotReady state.
  • atomic-openshift-node fails to start during upgrade to Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 3.10 with the following error:
