Old kmod-kvdo package cannot be uninstalled

Issue

• After updating the system with yum , the old kmod-kvdo package is still installed and cannot be removed.

  root# rpm -q kmod-kvdo
  kmod-kvdo-6.1.0.171-17.el7_5.x86_64
  kmod-kvdo-6.1.0.181-17.el7_5.x86_64
  

• Manually removing the old kmod-kvdo package fails.

  root# yum remove kmod-kvdo-6.1.0.171
