Filesystem resource monitor operation fails when the mountpoint directory is a symlink

Issue

  • The Filesystem resource agent cannot find the mount point during the monitor operation if the mount point is a symlink.
  • Filesystem monitor operation fails immediately after start operation succeeds.
  • Cluster nodes keep fencing each other after Filesystem monitor failures.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6, 7, or 8 (with the High Availability Add-on)
  • Pacemaker
