LocalDate does not work correctly in Guided Rule Editor in BRMS 6

Every time I try to check date equality, either using "==" in the Guided Rules editor or using the
Date.isEqual()method in the expression editor, it successfully validates the rule. However, when I try to run a Test Scenario it fails saying it can't evaluate the constraint and when I look back to the rule in the editor, it jumbles my expression and makes it into a mess that is definitely not something that can be compiled. -
When I bind a LocalDate object to a variable in the LHS part of a guided rule in Business Central, and then try to set a constraint on another field of type LocalDate further down in the LHS, the constraint editor window never pops up.
I am using LocalDate. What could be wrong?
