How to specify redirect-port in Http Connector via properties substitution

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • Is there an option available in JBoss EAP 6.0.x to specify the "redirect-port" via properties substitution mechanism sothat the value need not to be hard coded ?
        <subsystem xmlns="urn:jboss:domain:web:1.2" default-virtual-server="default-host" native="false">
            <connector name="http" protocol="HTTP/1.1" scheme="http" socket-binding="http" redirect-port="8443"/>
            <connector name="https" protocol="HTTP/1.1" scheme="https" socket-binding="https" secure="true">
                <ssl name="ssl" key-alias="chapter8" password="rmi+ssl" certificate-key-file="${jboss.server.config.dir}/chap8.keystore" protocol="TLSv1" verify-client="false" certificate-file="${jboss.server.config.dir}/chap8.keystore"/>
            </connector>
            <virtual-server name="default-host" enable-welcome-root="true">
                <alias name="localhost"/>
                <alias name="example.com"/>
            </virtual-server>
        </subsystem>
  • In the above configuration is it possible to specify redirect-port="${some.https.port}" ? Sothat hard coding can be avoided?

Environment

  • JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
    • 6.0.0
    • 6.0.1
