Quota values are not displayed correctly on a GFS2 filesystem in RHEL 5

Issue

  • After configuring quotas in a GFS2 filesystem, the values shown appear to contain garbage data:
# gfs2_quota list  -f /dev/mapper/mpath10p
user        1373:  limit: 0.0        warn: 0.0        value: 305773485752320.0
user        1374:  limit: 0.0        warn: 0.0        value: 5321269462624170.0
user        1375:  limit: 0.0        warn: 0.0        value: 72057594037927936.0
user        1376:  limit: 0.0        warn: 0.0        value: 72057594037927936.0
user        1378:  limit: 0.0        warn: 0.0        value: 0.2
