Kernel with L1TF mitigation patches panics while running on CPU without EPT
Issue
The kernel with L1TF mitigation patches applied panics if it is being run on the CPU that does not support Extended Page Tables (EPT).
RHEL 7 kernel may panic if userspace tries to read the /sys/module/kvm_intel/parameters/vmentry_l1d_flush file.
RHEL 6 kernel may panic right after the first KVM VM is started.
