A newly created file on GFS2 is not seen on other node

Issue

  • The customer has a two node cluster consists of nodes A and B, and NFS service is configured.
  • A GFS2 file system is mounted under /export/test and shared by the nodes.
  • When a file is created under /export/test on A, it is not seen on B.
  • They need to umount and mount the file system again to see it.

  • lvm2-2.02.83-3.el6.x86_64
