yum update hangs with dbus-daemon failure

Issue

• While running yum update, it hangs when a service attempts to reload or restart dbus.

• You may see the following error messages in /var/log/messages:

Jul 09 08:13:35 <hostname> dbus[833]: [system] Unable to reload configuration: Configuration file needs one or more <listen> elements giving addresses

• busctl command throws the following error message.

# busctl
Failed to connect to bus: Connection refused
