How to run clustered services on seperate network

Issue

  • A Red Hat cluster IP-ressource can not be directly set up to use a specific interface.
    This is because IP-ressources are effectively just a IP-aliases not full IP configurations. The only config field is IP-address and netmask. Interface can not be set in the clusrer configuration directly.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 5 (with the High Availability and Resilient Storage Add Ons)
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6 (with the High Availability and Resilient Storage Add Ons)
