rhevm-manage-domains or rhsc-manage-domains results in "No user in Directory was found"

Issue

  • When trying to add the RHEV-M server to the AD domain it results in an error.
  • This error occurs when running the command below.
# rhevm-manage-domains -action=add -domain=rhev.example.com -provider=ActiveDirectory -user=username -interactive -addPermissions
No user in Directory was found for username@RHEV.EXAMPLE.COM. Trying next LDAP server in list
