Does AMQ 7 have an admin console to manage all brokers in a cluster?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Is there a single admin console for all brokers in an AMQ 7 cluster?
  • AMQ Console needs a cluster summary view
  • We need a management console from which we can access all the brokers in the cluster. Does Red Hat provide such a feature already? It's crucial for our ops team to not have to toggle between multiple consoles. For a cluster of 3 brokers, we expect to access a management node via hostname:port and not have to login to individual consoles like
hostname-broker1:port
hostname-broker2:port
hostname-broker3:port
  • When AMQ 7 is used in a cluster, where multiple instances are known to one another, it would be useful if the Hawtio console could show a summary of the whole cluster – which nodes are up/down, which are master/slave, etc. At the moment, each broker's console shows information only about itself.
