While executing lvm commands getting error : "error while loading shared libraries: libreadline.so.X: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
Issue
- All
lvmcommands are reporting a libraries errore, eg:
error while loading shared libraries: libreadline.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.
- xfs_growfs command on RHEL 7 and higher reporting below error :
xfs_growfs: error while loading shared libraries: libreadline.so.X: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
- The library file
/lib64/libreadline.so.Xmissing in RHEL 6, or/usr/lib64/libreadline.so.Xin RHEL 7 and higher.
