RHN Satellite Error: 'ascii' codec can't encode character u'\u2013'

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • Internal Server Error after editing kickstart in satellite

  • 'ascii' codec can't encode character u'\u2013'

  • If I go to kickstart “View a List of Kickstart Profiles“ I get “ Internal Server Error

  • Adding some kernel parameters in your kickstart.  After saving the changes, unable to view any kickstarts.  Receive the error: Internal Server Error.

  • Red Hat Network Satellite, all versions
