  • Autofs fills the system logs with messages having a pattern "lookup_mount: lookup(map-type): key "some key" not found in map.

Example message seen in the syslog:

      Oct 25 10:36:04 XXXX automount[16105]: lookup_mount: lookup(yp): > key ".view.dat" not found in map
