HTTP 400 accessing application using IE 11

Issue

We are seeing HTTP 400 errors returned for some requests when accessing the EAP application using IE11 through Apache via mod_cluster.

The error in the logs may look like this:

FINE  [org.glassfish.jersey.server.ServerRuntime$Responder] (ajp-/1.2.3.4:5678-9) WebApplicationException (WAE) with no entity thrown and no ExceptionMappers have been found for this WAE. Response with status 400 is directly generated from the WAE.: javax.ws.rs.WebApplicationException: HTTP 400 Bad Request

  • Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Server (EAP)
    • 6.4.x
