How to configure debugger in JBoss Developer Studio For EAP 6?

Issue

  • After doing the following steps to debug a project from JBoss Developer Studio

    • Setting JAVA_OPTS in standalone.conf.bat :

      HOST_CONTROLLER_JAVA_OPTS="$HOST_CONTROLLER_JAVA_OPTS -agentlib:jdwp=transport=dt_socket,address=8787,server=y,suspend=n"

      the following error pops up:

      Failed to connect to remote VM. 
Connection Refused.

  • Why does the debugger not connect to JBoss Developer Studio?
